Happy Spring....

Spring is here, but not really. The sun here in the Midwest is huge in the mornings... the temps just are not showing us that spring feeling yet. It's like Old Man Winter wants to hold on a little longer...

I have to admit that I have been very lazy in the scrapping and card making area this winter. Now that Spring is trying to come, I have many occasions coming up to make cards for and with the grandchildren should have plenty of photos to scrap.

There are a alot of new items coming into the store and I seem to spend most of my time working on getting things added.

Stop by and check out all the new goodies we have coming in.

We will be welcoming two new grand babies to our family. One in just a few weeks and the other in 2 months. Super excited to be a Grandma...:)

Post Holidays

WOW, can you believe that Christmas is here and gone.... I thought that the months leading up to the holidays went fast, but this was a real whiz bang year...:)
We had so much fun at the oldest daughters on Christmas Eve, playing games, eating and just visiting. The drive home was a little hairy but all in all it was good. We had an easy day Christmas Day, doing nothing. Then Christmas on Sunday with the youngest daughter. However the cat still thinks that its necessary to sleep under the Christmas tree...like she is a present or like we can't see her...Not sure which?

After my husband having a 6 hour back surgery on Dec. 8th, things here have been to say the least crazy. I started being a consultant for Scentsy early in December....and love it.

Hopefully things will wind down a little now that the holidays are almost past.
Check out the huge sale we are having in the store. (If you dont want to enlarge the image for the code to get your 50% off everything) The code is "xmas-sale" and its good through January 15th. You can use it as often as you like until that date. Happy Holidays to you all!!

Busy Busy.... The countdown to Christmas is here for sure.

So many things going on right now.... I don't know where to begin.
My husband had all his teeth pulled the day before Thanksgiving and our holiday was very unique.... to say the least. Dinner was Chicken Noodle soup. I could not torture him with turkey and the fixins...needless to say he is healing nicely.
I have been busy making  Tilda Holiday cards and trying my hand at making jewelry. So far, I have made about ten... and have enjoyed some time with my girls that live close making necklaces...:)
The next challenge will be on Wednesday, when my husband Jim under goes double back surgery. This week has started out to be a long one already.... I pray that this surgery goes well and he gets the relief that he is searching for.

The best thing is... I hooked up under my friend Kim to be a Scentsy Consultant.... I love this product and my home smells so good all the time. I have never been a great sales person by any stretch of the word,  but I believe that this product will sell itself...:) check it out   https://mylaolson.scentsy.us/Home

I will have some cards to post int he next few days. Heather S. showed me some great Tim Holtz  techniques this past weekend.... and I have incorporated them with Tilda.... Love that Tilda !!!
Will post some soon...
